Scaffolding
Topps Scaffolding provide a quick response, safe and efficient scaffold service, covering Kent, Sussex, Essex, London, Surrey and Hertfordshire.
Established since 1981, we have been involved in just about every type of job concerned with scaffolding, in all manner of different environments. From simple house fronts to bridges across water, complicated temporary roofs, hangers, support scaffolds, the list is endless. Using our own in house scaffold designer, we will overcome any access problems.
Topps undertake a wide scope of scaffolding work including:

We have provided these access solutions through a large stock of traditional scaffolding materials and a mixture of system scaffolds, in particular Layer and Ubix temporary roof systems and Haki staircases.
In fact, we were the first company in Kent to use the Layer temporary roof system, whilst the Ubix allows us to bridge spans of up to 24m. This only goes to show that we as a company are flexible and not one-dimensional. If we see a product on the market that will enhance performance and results, we will not be afraid to try it.
Events and Hire
As well as providing a full erection service, we do hold a large stock of event apparatus such as Heras fencing and pedestrian barriers which are continually hired out for different functions, at a very competitive rate.
Chatham Historic Dockyard and Kent Life are a number of organisations who have used us for their fencing and barrier needs. We have also helped facilitate LEL Hire (events) and MHS (housing society) in providing stages for concerts and exhibitions, to even producing an abseiling gantry for a charity function.
Equally important are the zip up alloy towers we hire out. From 1.2m up to 8.2m working platform height, we offer narrow width (0.85m) and standard width (1.45m), plus platform lengths of 1.8m and 2.5m.
All these pieces of equipment can be delivered or collected, the choice is yours.
Timber Frame Scaffold Specialists
For the last 5 years we have carried out numerous timber frame projects. As a result we have invested in a large amount of timber frame kit including Adjustable Transoms, Ready Lock and Hop-up brackets.
This has enabled faster erection/ adaption and striking times compared to the use of traditional tube and fitting scaffold, therefore, accelerating programmes when deadlines dates are loaming.
