What makes us different from our competitors?

To be truthful, with regards to scaffold firms that are fully regulated, there are not too many unique attributes that can be found from one firm to another. However, at Topps we do pride ourselves on service, reliability and close contact relationships with our customer. If we set a date we will be there on that date; if we are given a completion date, we will complete on that date.

Our personal one-to-one service with the client is perhaps more prevalent than our larger competitors, whereby enquiries, questions or problems seem to get passed down the long chain of command. We deal with any issues instantly.

At Topps we are trying to move away from the cliché image of aggressive scaffolders on site, with a more professional, responsive and receptive workforce. We have a zero tolerance of any of our staff not behaving in a polite and courteous manner or responding to instructions from site agents, home owners and the general public.

Sitting in the seat of the client, one cannot get away from the fact that cost is also a major issue. Topps and the service we provide are extremely competitive. We will view any enquiry free of charge and are always open to negotiation if budgetary restraints are in place. Plus, we waiver any hire charge for the first four weeks, if you decide to use us.

Health and Safety is obviously treated with the utmost respect. All operatives are fully trained and ticketed. We also have SMSTS and IOSH trained staff within our ranks.

We are a close knit family firm drawing labour from the local community, ensuring a togetherness; a strength hopefully passed on to the customer. Not only are we providing job opportunities for the local community, we also put back into it through sponsorship of local football teams and regular fundraising events for various charities.

Simple things, yet essential factors, which are reflected in the fact that we have been in existence for just over thirty years, surviving a few recessions along the way, with nine out of ten clients continually using us.
